In a nutshell

I don't agree with everything in the latest Bleeding Yankee Blue post, but this seems like a completely accurate observation about last night:

"The Yankees lost. Nobody should be surprised. This is what happens when you let analytics nerds and a dumbass manager run the show."

"He gave us what we needed and felt really good about the outing he put forth, but I felt pretty convicted."

Boone is a fucking idiot.

And, as we all know here in the hallowed halls of IIHIIFIIC, that will likely not change during the remainder of many of our lifetimes.

So three cheers to the continued skewering and roasting of all of what is the current state of Yankees baseball here on the IIHIIFIIC Barbie and . . .

Have a simply splendid day !

Did the moron actually say “convicted” again ?

They lost because they have no one in the bullpen to rely on, it’s not that complicated

Partially true, Jaraxle. We'll never know what would've happened if Fried was allowed to keep pitching, or if Boone didn't bring in Weaver instead of someone else, or if the righty-lefty bullshit didn't keep two sparkplugs out of our lineup, or if anyone had managed to hit a fly ball to bring in the runner from third in the ninth.

Stupid upon stupid upon stupid.

What the hell is it with that Buffoon always using the word "convicted"? Ain't that a really really weird choice of language, "CONVICTED"? Is that some kind of Freudian slip? Perhaps we should start a new list of all the things that Buffoon Boone is actually CONVICTED of:

1. Convicted of being an atrocious dumbass.

2. Convicted of being the worst manager in the history of major league baseball.

3. Convicted of being a "yes" man to Yankee analytics.

4. Convicted of being unable to motivate his team.

5. Convicted of not properly coaching his team or emphasizing fundamentals.

6. Convicted of a total inability to properly manage his bullpen.

7. Convicted of a total inability to ever learn from any of his past mistakes.

Excellent list, Hammer. You hit the nail on the head.
