No, Greenlandia: Aaron Boone is NOT a "generational talent." Pt. Done

Golly Gosh Darn It !

We should have hugged this man whilst we all had the chance.

Sure looks as though this could be Seedy's grumpiest season ever.

Batten down the Bubbles !

But wait . . .

To be honest, I'd sorta be sore too if no one went shopping for my bench this off season.

Watch for Skip to add aspirin to his buffet of in-game munchies in 2026.

He's gunna toss 'em back and grind them down like Jack Torrance did in that Stephen King book  (whatever the heck it wuz called)

That's the only way he'll keep those migraines at bay.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and thanks Hoss and JM for . . .

My Inspiration .

My Inspiration . .

My Inspiration . . .

It is High

It is Far

It is . . .

BALLOON !

That is one of many TV quotes that I will never be able to purge outta my gray matter. Of course I have been told and have seen that many people's gray matter self-purge at a certain age and I'm fine with that when it happens.

... The Shining? Was the book titled differently than the movie?

I read somewhere that Jack Nicholson's character in the movie (at the beginning of the movie) seemed to be a crazy man pretending to be sane. A very good way to put it. And very much like what goes on with Yankee management these days.

Strange days ... are here ... (The Doors)

Boone is a generational tool - we won't see the likes of a tool like him for many more moons, Keemosabe. We will miss his empty eyes when he is gone, when Brian one day throws him out with the laundry, like so many used condoms. Poor Boone. I weep for him now.

Yanks have signed Bellinger...5yr/$162.5 million

I'm really struggling to care about the Bellinger signing and the Yankees in general.

Oh Bell !

Here's why Steve...Assuming Cole return and not incompetent putching staff, Bellinger ensures a 90 to 94 win season, followed by an ALDS exit. We've seen this movie before.

At last my love has come along...

Eh. Hey, what it means is that Judge will have some protection in the lineup this season, which will at least give us more moments of bliss. So there's that.

I was really surprised; I thought Hal was going full food stamps, what with his whining about taxes. I think every other bidder dropping out kind of embarrassed him into doing it....

Pitching will be had from a dumpster off 7th.

Next up: Cashman gives some Yankees beat writer exclusive access to proclaim how he bested Scott Boras, and what a genius he is.
