Thats is exactly what I was thinking the batting libe up is at best static compared to last year it has not improved

Pitching is a worry seems to be relying on especially Cole and Carlos to be back to their best when returning from injury and Gil And Cam to live up to their potential and a bullpen that I think is worse? than last years

My opinion the offseason has been poor every team in the division seems to have improved and we were terrible against them last year

Duque, from your list:

1. Stanton - methinks he plays only 40 games, hits .150.

2. Cabrera - you forget the Yankees hate developing position players. He will sit the bench and rot whilst McMahon hits .080 for the entire year.

3. Volpe - maybe back by the All Star break.

4. The Martian traded - yeah, this I can definitely see. But probably only 50/50. They like to hang on to young players and stash them in the minors until they're 28 or 29.

Yep, eaten alive by Blue Jays and Red Sox. Maybe even worse this year.

We’re paying McMahon $16M ($11.3 cap hit) in 2026. He will play 3b. You know the drill: if we’re paying him, we’re playing him.
