RALLY BEER: The Foam Poem

Redsock players, hardened men,
Even when they're down by ten,
Shout the words their victims fear:
"IT'S TIME TO DRINK THE RALLY BEER!"

Confronted by that final out,
They merely grab the Guinness Stout,
And say the words so all shall hear:
"WE'RE BREAKING OUT THE RALLY BEER!"

Hope and strength, it always brings,
And washes down those chicken wings!
Let it echo, bringing cheer:
"LET'S HAVE ANOTHER RALLY BEER!"

Oh, that every pre-loaded 'cart' on the Red Sox public address system should be changed from 'Sweet Caroline' to 'Ninety Bottles of Beer on the Wall, Ninety Nine Bottles of Beer....'

Also, that their new big screen at Fenway become mysteriously locked-up, with the phrase 'Stay Thirsty, My Friends', showing!
