Is it possible for a major league team to bat under .200 for the season?

What is the least number of runs ever scored by a team in the modern era?

Just asking.

Alph,

Don't know the answer to the second question, and I am, like many Yankees fans, too distraught and/or hung over to look it up.

But in regards to your first question: Yes. And, with a lineup like the one the Yankees are wheeling out there every day, it's becoming increasingly likely.

Don't worry, though. I hear to beef up the offense from the catcher's position, Cashman is in serious negotiations with Don Slaught.

Sorry. Just signed $2 million package with the Pittsburgh Pirates to be Russell Martin's backup.
