Are you willing to admit that cashman completely fleeced the d-backs with the Nuno-McCarthy trade yet?

It's way too small a sample size to evaluate the McCarthy-Nuno trade. I think it's likely that by next midseason we'll all be thinking that the Yanks got the worst of it.

As for O'Neill being the heart and soul of those Yankee teams of the late nineties/early aughts--that's all superficial personality stuff. The best all-around everyday player on those teams by a long shot was Bernie Williams, and he's not even included in the dopey "core four" trope.
