Silent blog, Holy Blog No one's here, and No one cares Verdugos' a virgin And a Dad Judge and Soto are All we have Sleep in Cashman's crease Sleep in Cashman's crease
I was just trying to explain to my wife... Judge was terrible for a month, month and a half. For him to be batting .334 with 49 HRs and 114 RBI --it means that since then he's been doing all that in a condensed time frame. If he had got off to a good start, he'd be batting .380 or something with almost 60 home runs. It's unreal.
Back from Connecticut, where the nutmeg roams. What Judge is doing is astonishing. Of course, John Harper on SNY has to take it TOO far—"Batters in previous eras like Babe Ruth didn't have to face relievers through a hundred miles an hour!" No, they didn't, but then they faced absolutely nobody while wearing a helmet and body armor—but this might well be the greatest season ever by a single player who is not juicing (at least, almost certainly) and who is protected by so little in the lineup.
It is truly magnificent. And Soto is just a cut below that. If he is not brought back, we should all become Mets fans.
By the way, Bitty, your cri de coeur before was absolutely great. Hear, hear! (Cashman often gives out with his own sounds, but that's more of a cri de cur. Thank you, thank you, don't forget your waitresses!)

Stanton doesn't suck. Sorry, but it's true. Paid way too much, but it's good to have him back.
He's paid way too much
we'll need three more runs to win . . .
Judge Judge Judge!
He's otherworldly.

Seems like it’s a daily home run with him
Did Glassman actually hit an impact home run?
Never mind all that. Who’s applying for the Yankee Intern for a Day contest? It’s a stepping stone to becoming General Manager!
Intern for the Day is also known as Pet of the Month
Or in Brain’s case, family pet for life
Aiiiiieeee! The Holmes is coming!
Uh oh
And here we go
I’m turning this off. I don’t need to watch another train wreck.
Yankees Win!!!
Miracle on 161st Street.
A rare save.
Orioles are gonna lose. Two and a half up.
Where can I find our pre-season WIN total predictions?
Woo hoo!
No luck in Baltimore. Orioles scored 5 in the 8th to come back & win 7-5.

Oh boy - you mean I’d have to be a Mets fan again? ☹️
