I fear that Mr Firefly feared that with continued poor play, horrid upper management skills and disinterested ownership that less and less people would show up to this beloved blog - migrating their entertaining clicks of interest to Taylor Swift instead.

Yeah, another inspired effort. Maybe they were all watching the Olympics in the clubhouse. I know that's what I was watching.

12 runs in three games against a team with a 4.53 ERA—13th in the AL, and 27th out of all 30 major-league teams. Great effort. Yanks leading AL with 2.3 million fans on the year. Just keep games like this coming, and see how long that lasts.

Nestor is toast. Should have traded him away for some prospects. And Boone leaves him in for 6 runs.

One of our great new bullpen arms kinda sucked, too.
