But hey, it could be worse. The Mets just re-signed Jay Bruce for 3 years, $39 million.
The fans of that team are saints, I do declare.
What's particularly appalling to me is that the link I posted to the NY Post's article of yesterday now resolves to a completely different article.
The one I read reported that the Astro's trade was a done deal. The one that comes up today doesn't mention this at all and only reports that the Yanks' interest in Cole has "cooled".
Since we are now apparently living in Animal Farm, I will never publish a link to a NY Post article again. If I see anything there that I believe would be of interest to the group, I will take a screen shot and post it here as an image that can't be changed.
My apologies to everyone for believing that the NY Post had a shred of integrity.
