Should we hold an IT IS HIGH Zoom virtual convention?

Though still obsessed with the fates of Hicksy, Big Maple and Red Thunder, I remain on the fence about how much life-sustaining bile I should spew upon the 2020 New York Yankees.

To be honest, I still doubt the season will happen.

You know all those safety protocols put forth by the owners in their season-re-opening handbook? In the end, they come from the same Ponzi-gang of rich, cheating sociopaths who let their coaches bang on trash cans to steal the world series. They will take whatever shortcuts become available, and the resulting COVID outbreaks will not only sicken their players, but all of us who put them in harm's way, simply to supply us with a diversion during a dark time.

This is like ordering troops to war. We really must question whether it's worth it.

But here's my real problem: I'm dizzy over this shit. On Monday, I think the season is a grand idea. On Tuesday, I've decided that I hate it. Since the pandemic arrived, each day has been a week, each week, a month. Is this what hell is? Endless politics, rising death tolls, shuttered taverns and no baseball? Save me.

Around now, in a normal season, we would be planning our Second Annual IT IS HIGH convention at Yankee Stadium. Obviously, that's out. But here's a thought:

Should we hold a virtual convention to discuss the future of the Yankees and how IT IS HIGH should observe it?

I happen to have a paid account with Zoom. Thus far, it has handled whatever loads we've needed. Should we schedule a get-together? Who's zoomin' who?

Lemme know if you're in.

For better or worse, some sort of spring training will soon begin, and it will lead to some sort of season. It might be the best of times. It might be the worst of times. Maybe we should start thinking of how to cover it.

Does this mean we all have to shower, change our t-shirts, and maybe even shave that day? Because that's really hit and miss these days.

I was just commenting on Hoss's post that these past months, I had forgotten that Romine and Didi are gone. That made me really sad.

But I'll give the Zoom a try.

I am in...on Pacific Coast Time.

Would love to reconnect with ...anyone.

Particularly UrbanFarmer dude.

If Mustang ( "I'd like this") is that excited, who could turn it down?

Everyone has to have time to accumulate; hot dogs, spicy brown Guldens mustard ( that yellow shit is not allowed at Yankee stadium); beer, peanuts, cracker jacks; more beer, sausages, rolls, and ...of course... sushi.

Anybody know how to contact the IBS Lady? She could be our honored guest.

In. I just need enough time to prepare by loading the wall behind me with Yankee memorabilia so I have the proper Zoom background.
