So your last official rumor for 2021 is that your New York Yankees are thinking of making a "blockbuster trade" for the A's (Door)Matts, Olson and Chapman.
Sigh.
So, with pretty much every shortstop in Christendom available as a free agents, our choice is a .210-hitting Gold Glove winner...at third base. Who hits right-handed. All just to save HAL more bucks.
I guess today confirms the Yanks as the back page champs for the year—again. Five in a row. I wonder if we'll see them take another year in our lifetime.
Happy New Year Guys, thank you for being THE reason I stick around and follow this team. Here's to a better 2022,,,, but who am I kidding, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But on a cheerier note...
HAPPY NEW YEAR! To one and all. Even the juju gods.
Happy Gnu Year, as they say in the veldt.
2022 has got to be better than 2021, but then, 2021 had to be better than 2020 and that didn't work out so hot.
The Yankees will continue to be just north of sucking. But, hey, we all expect that, so at least we won't be shocked.

Happy New Year Guys.
May 2022 bring you joy, good health and prosperity.
Plus a renewed interest in the minor leagues in light of the self-flagellation of MLB
