I was there, on E 10th. We could see the Trade Center from a living room window. So gobsmacked that we actually were heading to the office before our landlord stopped us. Nobody knew if another shoe would drop. We all scrambled to the nearest ATM to get all the cash we could.
Later, I watched out the window, and all of these people in businesswear marched up Avenue A. They're heads and clothes were covered in something whitish-gray. Then I realized they were walking uptown from the Financial District and were covered in ashes.
It was a very surreal day. And for weeks afterward, we had to shut our windows because the air made out throats hurt. I don't know how any of the rescue workers could breathe downtown. It was toxic.
Everywhere I went in the city, it was quiet, for a long time. Anyone making a loud noise made every head turn in fright. Sometimes, I forget we lived through that. Self-preservation.

Did the Martian raw dog Boone's girlfriend or something? I don't even know who's in left field
If the Yankees win and no one is watching, do they really win?
Watching?
Watching what?
I like to watch.

My brother-in-law was in the north tower (first one to get hit). He got out.
I was downtown. Don’t have much I wanna say beyond that. Not today, at least.
Trump did it. Saved the season.

Trump is great at saving Yankees seasons. Didn't you know that Trump has saved more Yankees seasons than any president in the history of America?
