By the by, I thoroughly agree with all of you about the absurdity of batting Judge second. A first-inning home run—which Judge set a record in hitting this year, right?—gives any team a formidable lead.
Truth is, that's much more likely even for clutch hitters than a ninth-inning homer against the other team's closer. Get that big three, right off the bat, and you have a tremendous advantage. But that's not how the computer program sees it.
It's incredible how wrong teams were for 125 years, batting their best and most powerful hitters third and fourth. How did we survive?
Meanwhile, the Giants are fumble fingered today. Bigly.

I didn't check in on the game yesterday until Blackburn was on the mound and that was a disaster. I decided to see how the game was going by checking this feed first, and well... your comments told me all. But, like a gawker who just has to see the car accident, I started checking out the game. Saw Warren on the mound and watched the score climb to 11-zip. Sigh.
So I thought I would join the grousing. It is what is truly is.
