This reviewer seems quite astute, although he should have discussed Alphonso's brilliant use of reverse juju at length. In fact, I'll bet he did, and it wound up getting cut. More's the pity.

I heard an unidentified Seattle writer is working on a competing book tentatively called "The Jesus Rules" chronicling epic Yankee blunders in trades with the Mariners. Does the name Ken Phelps ring a bell?
