Yanks Hammer Away at Brewers to Pay More For Fading Cameron

That the Yankess want to give up Melky ( 10 years younger than Mike Cameron ), add another $10 million contract, and slow down their offense and defense for 2009 is offensive enough.

Now, because the Brewers are unhappy with the size and length of the Sabathia bail out, the Milwaukee club wants more....much more for their .241 hitting centerfielder.

Rumor is, they want Joba, Cano and our top three minor league pitchers who ducked the Rule 5 draft. Oddly, they did not ask for Ian Kennedy.

The editors at IIH,IIF,IIc are working 24/7 to kill this deal.
So far, we have managed to engender a good deal of filibustering. We continue to hammer away.

Like the US auto dilemma, Milwaukee and New York are at odds on this theater.

We're like Jimmy Stewart in "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington," talking deep into the night in front of the Senate, refusing to yield the floor, speaking the truth to the people of the world...

As Dan Rather once said, 'Courage.'
