I read today, that Cashman is willing to give up Andujar, Sanchez and Frazier for that catcher in Florida. Why not Severino as well?
Here is how he goes about such things:
If he is remotely serious.....if he trades the kid who broke Joe DiMaggio's rookie records in hitting....we need to put an apple on Brian's bald head, tie on our own blindfolds, and let the flechettes fly.
Bad enough that Boone benched him so we could lose to Boston. Has anyone looked into Aaron's bank records to see if ungodly deposits went in after that game? Before that game?

He's a dude who should be in the marketing department. We need some broken down ex-infielder there who has a metal rod in his shin from a catastrophic slide in the 1970s. Cash-Puss says he can't trade Gleyber because he needs to be able to "walk the streets of New York"; well, I have a feeling he will not be any safer there if he dares to trade Andujar.
Along with many of you, I will certainly be sending very, very nasty wishes his way, should he be so stupid as to trade Andujar - - for ANY damned pitcher out there. A starter can help his team only every few days, at best...Miggy, the rightful AL Rookie of the Year, helped our team nearly every day he played.

I agree with everyone here. Don't mess with Andujar. Fire Cashman and Boone instead.
Better yet, fire Levine, Cashman and Boone. Then force Cheapskate Hal to sell the Yankees and go back to Cleveland.
Even that fair city isn't small market enough for the likes of Cheapskate Hal. His milltown boss mentality has no home in NYC.
I feel, for once, a deep gratitude to all the fielding stats freaks.
Right now, their idiotic overemphasis on a bunch of statistics involving plays that never happened is probably all that is keeping El Matador in NYC. There are probably half-a-dozen GMs with their hands stayed only by some assistant half-buried in computer printouts going, "No, no! Andujar is the worst fielder EVER! He'll destroy your team just like Jeter destroyed the old Yankees!"
