For the last month, we've been chasing Tampa Bay and thinking, "Wait'll we get them for those three games in the stadium." Well, we didn't even make it to those games

And it really pisses me off.

Admittedly, it is disappointing when your pitchers give up only four hits and lose the game. But we should come away uplifted, if mildly disappointed. I don't recall ever before having seen the Michael Kay - John Sterling tandem. Their tag-team announcing was as smooth as a Tony Kubek to Bobby Richardson to Moose Skowron double play. The modulation, the articulation, the erudition . . . . Damn. I forgot that Mariano was even standing there. Is it possible we could reunite this dream team in the dugout? Kay and Sterling know the Yankees better than anyone. And they sure know how to motivate. A-Rod flies out, but Sterling calls it a home run! We don't need Girardi back when these boys are available to manage. Gentlemen, we have seen the future, and it is more awe-inspiring than Nixon-Agnew! Kay-Sterling 2014!!! See you in Florida!!!

Only thing left to see is whether or not Mo plays CF this Thursday.
