BREAKING: Suzyn is missing from the Hertz 24/7 booth. (You hope she's not having an MRI and going to see Dr. Andrews.) She's being replaced by former (briefly, anyway) Yankee left-hander CJ Nitkowski, who will provide backup mouth for three games this month.
No Regis/Kelly electricity. CJ is doing the ads and scoreboard. It'll be tough handling Suzyn's Clubhouse Report. They're definitely not flirting. (Not that there would be anything wrong with that.) It's a man's world tonight.
If the Yankees win, I wonder if John will feel threatened by the presence of another man, and go Alpha Male on the WinWarble, going for a 9-second cry? He's asking CJ about his pitching career, and then pretending to listen.
Are the Yankees showing off their prospects for next year?

I wonder if Suzyn is celebrating at the Hebrew Home in Riverdale. It's like a northeast college campus. I believe the Master is Jewish too, but like any other true Yankee fan his religion is in the Hertz 24/7 Broadcast Booth.
