Editor of the Reformer:
Sports item: Jason Bay departs Fenway Park to partake a chunk of the "Big Apple."
Unfortunately, the Mets will not have interleague games versus Boston in 2010.
As a loyal rooter of the World Champion New York Yankees, the fact that Boston actually decided to withdraw from monetary negotiations, is beyond this Yankee loyalist.
Face it, Fenway faithful, your team will once again wind up in second place of the American League East Division in 2010. Only this year, instead being of eight games back of New York, when the curtain falls on the upcoming season, double digits listed in the games behind column of the American League East sounds about right.
A three word slogan came to mind when I heard that Bay will patrol the outfield area at Citi Field. "I m Lovin It!"
