The coronavirus has outlasted Aaron Hicks' injury

But we must expect a second wave of Hicks' injuries in the fall.

What you say is true. We have outlasted Hicks' injury ( wave 1 ).

However, by the time baseball is again played, he will be passed the " sell by" date.

He will run the forty in about 10 seconds.

I hope he can play the guitar or something...

Oh, don't worry. We gave him a nice, fat, long-term contract.

It just shows the vision of Hal Steinbrenner. He saw what could happen with these international plagues, and wanted to make sure that all of his ballplayers were provided for in the years to come. What a guy!

Thou know’st we work by wit and not by witchcraft, and wit depends on dilatory time.

IF JUDGE ISN'T HEALED BY NOW (AND FROM WHAT WE HEAR, HE'S NOT), THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?

FORGET THIS YEAR!

DO THE SURGERY!

NOW!

It's true, there will be a "second wave" of Hicks injuries. In fact, I don't think we'll be free of Hicks injuries next year, either, or possibly the year after that. Remember, the Black Death returned six times in as many decades in 14th century Europe, so by those standards we may still be looking at Hicks injuries well into the 22nd century.
