STOP THE PRESSES!

CALAMITY! CATASTROPHE! TROUBLE AND STRIFE!

The Ever-Injured Man is...INJURED AGAIN!

Giancarlo falls while running to rehab his injured whateveritwas. And is injured. And maybe out for the season.

Oh, the HUMIDITY! Or something like that.

Mickey Mantle, in 18 years of playing with a bone disease and an improperly repaired ACL, missed a total of 255 regular-season games.

Giancarlo Stanton, in 9 seasons of juicing, has missed something like two or three times that many with your New York Yankees.

And...this is good news. Clears up a roster spot, AND means we don't have to listen to people talk about what a great clutch player he is anymore.

He should just retire. Why keep pushing it? Nice career. Some great moments. A TON of money. Go home.

He won't retire because then he won't get paid on the remainder of his contract. So the Yankees should just release him and negotiate a buyout. If he won't budge, then dfa him. But they won't do that either. A fucking joke.

"May be out for the season"? I don't think there's any maybe about that. But if there's baseball next year, we have to endure this bull shit for another year. Wow, tiresome bull shit indeed.

Never wanted him, never liked, not my type of player. He can take over LeMahieu’s dead money slot on the roster next year. If there is a next year
