A bizarre connection that I can't get out of my head

I don't mean to dwell on other people's misfortune. That's the last thing we need: A blog that dwells on other people's misfortune. But tell me if this is - as The Master would say- a "co-ink-i-dink."

The woman that supposedly broke up David Petraeus' marriage is named Paula Broadwell.

The woman who supposedly broke up Brian Cashman's marriage is named Louise Meanwell.

In "Four Weddings and a Funeral," the woman who breaks up Hugh Grant's life is Andie MacDowell.

The announcer who used to call a double-play "two for the price of one" was Ernie Harwell.

The author who warned of doublespeak was George Orwell.

Well?

Do you feel well?

Well, well, well. As they say on the Mentalist, I don't believe in coincidences.

Or maybe that was on Dexter. For sure, it was not on Homeland. They believe in coincidences up the ying yang. Unlike Bones, where they don't seem to believe in anything but veterans and vapidity.

A shame, used to be a much better show.

Two words: Jerry Falwell. Talk about evil omens.
