- In the last several games, save for one victory, we are averaging about one run per game, give or take a small percentage.
- Our offense, since we left it all in Boston, leads the league in runners left in scoring position.
- We have no one who can hit in the clutch, regardless of the payroll.
- Bat speeds are slowing, hitters are lunging, no one can bunt or run, Nunez can't catch or throw. Tex can't bunt and his line drives are to the second baseman in short right field. He has lost 20-30 yards of distance on his power, leading to outs not HR's.
- A-Rod is winding down. He is more like Andrew Jones now, than a $25 million slugger pursuing Babe Ruth.
- It isn't our pitchers throwing shut-outs.
Has anyone noticed?
