Dear Editor,
We have a young man from DeRidder who is playing his heart out to
make the big league as a starting pitcher. His name is Josh P. Rainwater, and he
is No. 25 with the Kansas City Royals' farm club, the T-Bones. We all hope and
pray he will excel this season and make his dream come true.
He has worked hard all his life to fulfill his dream of being a
big-league pitcher. Baseball is and has been his goal in life.
Josh is not one to toot his own horn; he speaks loudest and with
command from the pitcher's mound. Some positive coverage surely would be
helpful.
I hope that Josh gets his chance to fulfill his dream this season
with the parent team, the Royals.
Josh Rainwater is, in my opinion, our second "Louisiana
Lightning," following the lead of Ron Guidry, former pitcher with the New York
Yankees.
