Jeter and Mo (with apologies to Robert Frost)

Some say the world will end in Jeter,
Some say in Mo.
From what I’ve seen of Dellin's heater
I hold with those who favor Jeter.
But now that we have perished twice,
I think I've seen enough from Joe
To know that Jeter, without Mo,
Will really, seriously blow.

meaninglessness continues: Phil Hughes is a record-setting pitcher who went more than 200 innings with a record of 16-10 for one of the worst teams in baseball. He set the record for best strikeout-to-walk ratio.

I doubt whether many of us who read IIHIIFIIc regularly can honestly say that we wanted the Yankees to retain Phil or even saw this coming. However, my hindsight being pretty sharp, I am willing to go out on a limb and say that his current success seems to be a clue to something, such as: Even when the Yankee organization has talented players to work with, they don't know how to develop it or coach it.
