Well, here we are everybody.
Tomorrow, the camps would normally open.
They won’t, of course.
The tabloids are doing their part: Not one Yankee or Mets cover yet this year. Bravo.
And I will not carry their water either.
There is still time to end this lockout and start the season on opening day... as it should.
But we are here. That long-awaited crisis is upon us.

Well, I never expected there would be a Spring Training. And I figured at best we'd have a truncated season.
America's pastime, woefully past time.
I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't seem like the two sides are close enough on major economic issues to close the gap within the next two weeks. This is going to drag on for a while. What a shame.
I can’t believe some people didn’t see this coming. The tip off was the rancorous debate between the parties about returning to play during the pandemic. A lockout was inevitable given the history and lack of leadership. When they’ll resume is anybody’s guess. My best guess is that we’ll miss a month of the regular season.
