He's no Master

True, not at all like John Sterling. Instead of hoopla and puns, Scully distills statistical data, clearly explains the nature of Mo's cutter and the degree it breaks, demonstrates surprising objectivity considering he's been a Dodger partisan since 1882, and has a smooth melodious delivery. Even better, no moronic sidekick to divert the broadcast into some arcane tangent that reveals heavy drinking in the booth. Scully may not be on the level of PeeWee Reese & Dizzy Dean (still the champs in my book, followed closely by Scooter), but he's much more pleasing to the ear than that damned warble . . . .

Blasphemer!
Well, you may make a good point or two about Vin, Kid, but does he like show tunes?

No offense to the great Vin Scully, but his smooth and melodious lullaby delivery reminds me very much of text to speech computer driven communication,,, http://www.oddcast.com/home/demos/tts/tts_example.php
I'll take the animation provided by John and Suzyn any day/ night of the week!
