I figured it out.
The Yankees are are .500 club, shooting for mediocrity, and using chicken rituals to reach the one-game play-in game which will occur somewhere in an American ( or Canadian ) city. It could even happen in Texas.
So here is the math;

Why confuse things by winning five and then losing five?
