One more thing...

Also, I wanted to add that I predicted 112 wins at the start of the season.

I was deeply ashamed of that prediction, as it was a rare moment of crazy optimism that I thing has hurt us all with the gods ever since.

Though I can't hope noticing that, should the Yanks somehow win it all, they will be right there...

Hoss! Thank God you’re back. We needed you. We kept the space open on the 40 man roster.

Hush, Dear Heart, hush.

From here, the NYYs need to go 10-and-7. Or better.

Most of the season, if they posted a 10-and-7 record in a given 2-week period, most of us would be semi-suicidal, chirping for Boone's head, flaying Cashman, and questioning Hal's billionaireMANhood.

From here, tho, 10-and-7 means smiles all around. Spaces on the wall for Judge's number (and Sanchez's, too?). ETC.

Funny thing, eh?

Before we enter the Arena tonight to contest Destiny with the hated Foe, I must share with you The Greatest Thing That I Have Ever Seen.

Joe FoB, that's what I was thinking today. Win two in a row at home this week, then 4 and 3 for a week and then 4 and 3 again and we can all go home happy.

TWW,

That is just so wrong on so many levels. No wonder you find it so fascinating.

We can only hope that this is double triple reverse ujuj. I find it a metaphor for cowboy up.

In related news, Cora put everyone who sucks against Severino in the lineup tonight. A single instance where I thought Cora was dumber than T-bone.

Quadruple triple axel rut-ro.

I'll beat LBJ to it (unless he already did so on another thread I was too lazy to read) and say that I really hope the Yankees win tonight. By at least a touchdown, and with a couple of overs to spare.

As long as Frank sings tonight and Dusty Pedroia cries, all will be well.

Ice Cream doing ok on defense.

Sevvy had to try and field it. Idiot. Easy out if he let it go.

The new Severino: high pitch count, difficulty after two strikes, gone in the fourth or fifth, maybe nicked for a run or two.

Ok in the playoffs, but regular season, Count Suckula.

Hey! Look at that! Giancarlo!

Well, that inning was a pile of nothin'.

I don't like this ballgame yet.

Gardner should NOT be the first line of defense.

Looks like Sevy has become a 4-5 inning pitcher at best. Happ better have a great game tomorrow. Houston will beat whoever advances in any event. Very depressing tonight.
