How Not to Score

To follow up on El Duque's post:  the booth geniuses today informed us that the Yankees have set an all-time club record by striking out 47 times in the team's first five games.

At the same time...they lead the AL in OBP.  Yay!

And...they've scored 18 runs, or 3.6 a game.  Cut out the 7 on Opening Day, and they've scored 11 runs in 4 games, or about 3.2 a game.

Oh.

15 more Ks today through 7, let's see if they can beat Clemens and get to the magic 21! Appreciate the history that you may be witnessing!

WELL, COOP PLAYED IT CUTE THIS OFF-SEASON.

THE GARDY SIGNING WAS THE TIP-OFF. (MADE NO SENSE).

WE STILL COULD HAVE PULLED IT ALL TOGETHER WITH THE SIGNING OF BRYCE.

.....BUT COOP PLAYED COY AND SAID, "WE HAVE 6 OUTFIELDERS."

anon IS RIGHT....

THE EXPERIMENT ?? ...

TAUCHMAN FOR HARPER. (ALL BECAUSE COOP GOT LUCKY WITH VOIT FOR A QUARTER SEASON).

WE STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW IF VOIT IS FOR REAL!

NOW THAT THESE DECISIONS HAVE OBVIOUSLY COME UP SNAKE EYES, WILL THERE BE ACCOUNTABILITY?

WILL AN AXE EVER FALL?

Too late for accountability, ALL-CAPS! The horses all ran off and signed with other teams.

And Voit looks more like a mirage every inning.
