Ma Boone Explains It All For You

So here is our manager, quoted in today's NY Times:

"We're always capable of going on a roll.  That's a matter of time.  That's a matter of us starting to click all together and getting some guys hot collectively the lineup and getting our pitchers settled in. Even banged up, I'm confident we can go on a run at any point."

How did this guy NOT end up in the diplomatic corps, obviously his true calling?  This should be a standard, Foreign Service training lesson on how to say nothing.

Translation:

"Hey, we might get hot.  Hot means a lot of guys playing and pitching well at the same time.  So, that's possible even though we're injured."

Glad you straightened that out for us, Ma.

How about:  "I've got to do a better job of anticipating situations and taking the game to the other team, and some of these guys need to wake the hell up if they don't want to find their asses back in Dunder Mifflin land."

Normally I hate their over-reliance on the 2 run HR, but I won't complain when they hit 5 of them.

Okay that's enough. Save some for Houston.

What the hell does Boone And the rest of the hacks err...coaches do? with quotes like these it's OBVIOUS that they sure don't fucking teach, coach, instruct.... Instead they sit in the dugout chewin fucking seeds and bubble gum...meanwhile judge is getting screwed on strike three calls,ICS, Stanton are swinging at pitches halfway in the dugout and teams offense and defense play is sloppier than J-rods relationship. Stoo waiting for the "process" or "a roll" and fucking do what their paid to do... Coach, manage,

Leinstery, never underestimate or overestimate the value of a 2-run home run. It's worth two runs, ever and always.

Did the Master really say, "Downtown goes Frasier?"

He was en fuego today. Good hitting does that to him.

Teams that live by the home run never make it across the finish line.

I love them as much as anybody else, and sometimes they save the day. Why, just look at Ma Boone's life story.

Anyway, all well and good, especially against a powerhouse like Baltimore, but it makes me nervous. Also, I'm glad they finally got Sanchez's meds right. What a relief.

Not only did he say it, but he said it while doing a creditable imitation of How. Ard. Co. Sell.

You are right, 13bit.

Although it was good to see German pitch so well.
