This is good news

The Redsocks have signed Alan Embree for their bullpen.

Apparently, they lost out on Billy Traber.

Check out this quote, from pitching coach John Farrell.

“I wouldn’t say there’s a concern there.’’

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Wait, what? I didn't think he was still pitching in the MLB. Was he in Alphonso's dirt league for the last few years?

In 24.2 innings for Colorado last year, Embree posted a 5.84 ERA and a 1.622 WHIP. But he's only 40, so I'm sure the Sawcks are expecting a bounce-back season in 2K10.
