The article is probably giving up on Gleyber too soon, but please send Sanchez away already.

Do we need a third baseman? I didn't think so. We need a shortstop.

Speaking of third, Kyle Seager, Corey's brother, has retired rather than go through the free agent mill during a lockout and whatever hell virus variants have in store for 2022. So any speculation about him wearing the interlocking NY are out the window.

Whatever Cashman and Hal do, it's bound to be cheap and stupid. Maybe this lockout can last until they both keel over from old age.

This guys is an idiot. Why would Oakland possibly make that deal?

Trading for Olson and Chapman is a bad idea—unless we can do it for, say, Sancho and The Gleyber. But we can't. The A's will demand several of our (very few) real prospects, at least. They are not going to simply slip us two of their better players in exchange for our overpaid problem children.

Also, Santa Claus isn't real, the Easter Bunny was eaten by a wolf, and the Tooth Fairy only gives out bitcoin these days.

Sheesh!
