A simple explanation of Solange Knowles' elevator attack on Jay-Z

It's obvious.

She's a Yankee fan, set off by the recent appearance of Robbie Cano in a Seattle uniform. I bet Jay-Z had the unmitigated gall to wear his signature Yankee cap that night, and he probably asked for the score of the Mets' game? That triggered the violence, which was wholly understandable, considering the circumstances.

I would have done the same. Jay-Z should be thankful that it was Solange Knowles... and not Suzyn Waldman.

J-z ought to toss in the towel now and become a redsock fan (there are plenty of redsock fans in the city). He will never again be welcomed at the Stadium by true Yankee fans. I'd love to be there should his mug ever show on the Stadium Jumbotron.

However, I'm sure the Yankee FO will just wink and give him loads of comps. It's all only a business. don't you serfs understand that? Just go buy a new cap, dammit, and behave yourselves.

I've always hated that New York song. Crap. One very thin musical idea beaten to death. So naturally, it was a monster hit.
