Rainout Theater: Highway Patrol, Episode 78—"Lie Detector"

Rain out Theater should be a montage of Yankee injuries and re-injuries from this year, including ST. and rehabs.
Perhaps flashes of PT and guys swooning on the couch with headaches. Or playing catch or jogging in the outfield and then ramping it up to "full baseball activities."

That should take uo most of the night

Jesus, seriously, these guys are more than 30 years younger than us. Grin and bear it or go sell used cars.[Like old-time AAA players used to have to do in the offf-seaon]

And - when you're done with your moving picture - here's something else for all of you to read from a decent digital fish wrap from the other side of the pond . . .

I'd say I'm sorry, but I wouldn't want to lie to you.

Wallowing in disgust at Yankees' management.

Here are guys I wish would exit with velocity:

Donaldson
Marwin
Hicks
Gleyber
Das Boot
Castro
Chapman
Boone
Cashman
HAL 9000

But JM, Kubrick was my inspiration growing up and the primary reason why I turned to film. You can’t just exit velo HAL 9000. Just let Dave Bowman lobotomize him forever and ever and ever.

Roofy - I get it - no apologies necessary from my ant farm of heat warnings melting pavement

And this just in from Randy Levine:”, compliments of the Daily Murdoch:

“ What we’ll talk about with him and his representatives in the offseason is, ‘How do we keep him?’ And then it will be up to him to see, does he want to stay here [or] does he want to go someplace else? Is somebody offering him a better deal?”

That is the Yankees way of saying “Adios Amigo. It’s been swell, but we aren’t going to break the bank for you?”

Which means he’s a goner.

Mets may drop out of sole position of first place tonight. Rays beat the BoSox to cut the lead to 4 1/2. But somehow...all I want to see/talk about is Judge.

The nice thing about a rain-out is it solves one of the many problems the Yankee brain trust has failed to address: Cole won’t give up any dingers tonight.

I concur with all JM's firings and add the development department, the trainers, medical staff, every statistician and especially, former Deputy Mayor and unindicted co-conspirator, Randy "I have a bond deal to sell you" Levine.

Please fire the last clown BEFORE negotiating a new contract with the best homegrown home run hitter the Yankees have had since Mickey Mantle.

Rainout Theater is always entertaining. No monsters or aliens this time, but still solid stuff. Terrific musical score. Gotta love the high tech use of lie detectors and the super drone footage during the intro. I sensed it was the nephew all along. That poor Taylor spent 4 HOURS on the lie detector. Guy needed an attorney. Where was Roy Cohen? The old Highway Patrol had quite an advantage in the days before Miranda warnings.
