Great win last night! So good to see those despicable ASS-stros get their butts handed to them. Now let's finish the job this afternoon!
ASS-stros always start slow. It's been like this for at least a few years now. Then they come on in the second half of the season, so it's probably premature to say they're cooked. If they're still this way come trade deadline, you gotta believe their management will be smart enough to tank. They do have a lot of age on the roster, and their young players don't look so good anymore.
Dusty Baker retired, and it seems to me that the things that they used to preach under Baker and that bastard A.J. Hinch aren't being emphasized anymore. They look like an ordinary team. Just another crappy team, in a crappy division, in a crappy league. Hell, it looks like they've STOPPED CHEATING!
BTW Suzyn Waldman says Hader has been lousy so far this year. Hard to believe, but could it be that the Yankees dodged a bullet by not signing him?

Minor-league hitting coordinator Joe Migliaccio is teaching Caleb Durbin to hit with more power. At the same time, Joe is impressed by the fact that Durbin's swing and miss rate in the strike zone was 4% last year. Is it just me, or is telling the guy to hit for more power a virtual guarantee that he's going to start swinging and missing a whole hell of a lot more?
“He’s such a fun player to watch,” Migliaccio said. “I can’t imagine there’s not one team out there that wouldn’t want a player like Caleb Durbin.”
