Visualize The Leaks

Brian Cashman surveys the trades he made through the July 31 deadline.

He now assesses the 17th ranked farm system in minor league baseball ( and fading).

And he discovers that we have no players remaining with " high prospects."

We have no catchers at all.  No first basemen.  No outfielders.  No pitchers.

And the Yankee clipper ship is nose to the ground.

Awaiting the return of hard hitting, rock-gloved Jesus Sanchez.

Bums of the month:

1.  Torres
2.  Bird
3.  Peterson
4.  Voit
5.  El Chappo
5.  Gray
6.  Severino
7.  The Baltimore lefty
8.  Rothschild
9.  Boone
10.  Cashman
11.  Cole

The Coast Guard is busy with real problems.  Learn to swim.

Hey Fonz - to which Peterson do you refer? Jace? I thought he left a while ago, but I’m not sure of anything anymore. Ever since I retired I’m not even sure what day it is. I’m pretty sure we’d be better off with Jace than Shane Robinson, though.

Meanwhile, the Gammonites are all a tizzy that Coops has brought back a whole bunch of leading 16-year-olds.

Yippee! I'm sure we'll be drooling over them in 2024. Or never.

Hubbs at Barstool is so right, it hurts. I especially liked this one-two punch near the end: "The Yankees are 74-44 and I’m willing to believe they’d have that record with anyone as their manager. We’re the worst 30 wins over .500 team in baseball history."

Yes, they would have that record with anyone as their manager, including me, and my attention span is that of a gnat's. When several very shapely lady gnats are sashaying past. With short, loose dresses on a windy day. But I digress.

Would somebody explain again why Rothschild is still the pitching guru? Because he was pretty bad under Girardi, and we needed the continuity with an inexperienced Boone?

And take it easy on Gardy. The guy is in the middle of a fair amount of scoring, one way or another. More than you can say for a chunk of this lineup.

We need to re-animate the ol' Perfesser.

He'd humiliate these underachievers in the press.

Hell, bring back Billy too.

No Billy. Please please please please no Billy.

OK, no Billy, but give us the ol' Perfesser.
