Can fans be considered nominees for Yankee Employee of the Month?

Personally, I think that only Yankee employees should be nominated... I understand the curse, so I think it is our obligation to choose carefully...

It should be limited to baseball players and coaches and managers and front office brass or what have you, and fans that directly impact the game (beer throwing fan in Chicago, Steve Bartman.. in Chicago), and maybe, maybe media members if it's a special case.
