Due to my advanced age and the fact that I suck, I cannot guarantee staying awake past the third. But I'll try to contribute a bang-up analysis of the singing of the national anthem and the exchange of lineup cards.
In addition to sucking at staying awake, I can also be a little slow: What was the reason you illustrated your post with a photo of Kim Jong-un? I'm not quite sure I see the sequitur.

Oh! The party is on. Indeed! Seven in a row, motherfuckers! I love winning pennants and world series. Long winning streaks are the next best thing, especially after a bottle of Absolut for no particular reason with my buddy. Greg Bird says he heard the Joggy Cano references and says stick it up your ass. Pineda says he's the second coming of Bob Gibson, but maybe not as mean and certainly not as good but, you kn ow, he won a couple of games in a row and, by golly, that's fuckin' great. Right? It doesn't take much to get me riled up, and I am happy to ignore all my doom-and-gloom predictions -- even if I did say the Yankees would win 93 or something like that in the pick-your-number contest -- when we're rocking and rolling on a 7-game win streak. John and Suzyn must be in seventh heaven.

PINEDA WAS SOLID TONIGHT AND HAD REAL GOOD STUFF AGAIN, I WAS SEEING 95, 96, AND REMEMBER HEARING 97 ONCE.... THE SLIDER WAS SHARP, AND HIS CONTROL WAS GOOD....THAT'S 2 EXCELLENT STARTS IN A ROW.
JUDGE HAD A HOMER WHICH WAS CALLED A TRIPLE AFTER REVIEW....THE FAN CAUGHT THE BALL AROUND WAIST HEIGHT, BUT WITH A DOWNWARD MOVEMENT OF HIS GLOVE, HE DROPPED THE BALL BACK ONTO THE FIELD..... IT ALL BECAME A MOOT POINT WHEN GREG BIRD BLASTED A 2 RUN HOMER, SCORING JUDGE IN THE NEXT AT BAT.
OF COURSE, THERE WAS THE USUAL ANNOUNCER DRIBBLE BY AARON BOONE ABOUT HOW GREAT A JOB BRIAN CASHMAN HAS DONE, YADA YADA....
AFTER READING THIS BLOG, AND COUNTERACTING ALPHONSO AND EL DUQUE BY NECESSITY, GREG BIRD IS SHOCKINGLY BACK ON TRACK..... 3 HITS (NO CHEAP ONES), INCLUDING A BOOMING HOMER, A LINED DOUBLE AND AN ADDED WALK TOO........ HALLELUJAH!!!
AARON HICKS HIT A SOLO HOMER IN THIS GAME, AND HE CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE, AND PROVE ME WRONG IN THE PROCESS..... I LOVE IT, AS LONG AS HE HELPS US WIN.
