We at IIHIIFIIc want to pass on this critical information.

More dire situation in Hawaii is this:

I'd give credit to whoever posted it first, but I forgot who.

Hawaiians are much more likely to grill spam on the lava than marshmallows.

...and the locals know that lava is hot:

That marshmallow warning is only for the tourists.

More ridiculous government interference!!

We are still living in the nanny state! Or the deep state, I get confused.

Maybe the deep nanny state. Hmm, maybe the name for my next thriller. Why, I can see the movie trailer already:
"Matt Damon stars in 'Deep Nanny State.' Watch out for the lava!"

Also, Wasn't "Don't Go Near The Lava" a Beach Boys song? I think it was on "Surf and Turf's Up."

If anyone is interested, I have a lovely home within view of the fire and light show. Lava flows are a nine iron away.

There remains a fully functional road in and out of the property, though it is often a bit jammed up with camera people and assorted News folks.

This lovely, secluded four bedroom home is being re-priced daily. Originally priced at $450,000, it is now available at $31,899. Serious buyers should be aware that property taxes will soon be non existent.

All bids will be given consideration. Pretty much any currency will be accepted. Even old drachmas.

If you are of such a mind, this property makes a lovely retirement gift for your in-laws.

'Phonso, is there an optimal time for my in-laws to move in?

You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger
And you don't toast marshmallows on a Hawaii volcano, Jim
