Dead Meat

Okay, maybe Tex is waiting to break out.  If he doesn't, he is nothing more than an over-paid guy who keeps errors down from the infielders and, frankly, that is getting old hat and winning us nothing.

Maybe Yukilis will help do something ( though I won't be watching).

So far, Joe's new power line-up, and left/ righty flexibility, is fooling no one and intimidating no one.

One run.  Again.

Against some nobody pitcher whom we elevated to Cy Young status.

Everyone who does watch tonight:  compare the line-ups and think of the future.  Middlebrook is not even playing, and he is their regular third baseman.  The guy playing third is their actual SS, and few of us have seen better defense ( also, he hits ).  Their center fielder has more potential than our entire minor league system.  Player after player ( except for the fat guy ) is younger, better and has more upside.

We have absolutely no one who will ever be a threat.

Adams looks like a hitter, but likely .245 with 8 homers.  And he is an average glove at best.

Nunez will either hit or field.  Never both.  A career, part-time, utility infielder.

Corbin Joseph is a second baseman playing first at Scranton, because we have Robbie forever at second.  Joseph had a hit as a Yankee and that is probably it for him.  I've said before, Mason Williams is nothing.  Heathcott is nothing.  Maybe Almonte can play.  But he is like Dickerson, whom we jettisoned ( mistake ).  So he'll not get a chance, either.

Sanchez is about 8 years away from AAA.

Dellin Bettances remains really tall.

Dead meat.

No. No. Not puercitos. Chickens! Jobu demands live chickens. Red Sox fans use the little pigs. They sacrifice their own, hooves and all. We need chickens! Many chickens! Fill the streets of Syracuse with chickens. Then they die and Yankees live!!
