I love all the enthusiasm Mantle shows in this ad. Just rarin' to go.

Groat's average dropped 50 points in 1961, but he bounced back. Both he and Mathews were excellent hitters, but Eddie had home run power where Groat had doubles power. Both very good fielders.

Groat was quite an athlete. I believe he was an All American basketball player for Duke.
