Nah. Moose hit .203 the year after they traded him. But they should've got more than Stan Williams for him—and they should've hired a shrink for the guy who replaced him.
But yes, he was a terrific player and a great gentleman.
Hoss, Ya' think, just maybe, that trade had something to do with his average plummeting subsequently?? I've never completely forgiven them for trading ol' number 14 - - definitely one of MY favorite Yanks of that era, too. LB (No J)
