You almost never hear this from me, but I feel oddly sanguine and hopeful. BRING UP THE YOUNG'UNS. They can get us through until the cavalry comes back. I mean it. AND, with JUDGE kaput for now, hopefully Crackhead Cash won't trade for a dead arm. That is my only fear now - that Cashman will make some desperation move. We don't need it. Bring up Monty, Garcia and the other guy - my friend just mentioned his name - King. Throw them against the wall. Lasagna, too. Thank god we have Happ - did you ever expect me to say that? Just DON'T TRADE FOR A RENTAL LOSER. June will bring us Domingo. July will bring us Paxton. August will bring us CC's ghost.

I THOUGHT, all along, that Sevvy's recovery was too good to be true. The way he went downhill in the second half of 2018 had severe arm injury written all over it.
I wonder how much this is all going to be extended by the Yankees not getting a firm diagnosis when it first happened, back in July of that year, and having it operated on?
Could be, he would have been truly ready to come back this spring. No way of knowing how much he'd have left, but at least we could find out.
Now? Well, let's tune in again in February, 2022...

Mike Bloomberg has a better chance of being President than the Yankees have of winning the WS, but I bet they'll be a spunky group.
What'd I say before? We have Cole, plus four question mark starters, due to injuries or inexperience. A blind man hitting cleanup. No judge. A totally right hand hitting lineup. The season hasn't even started yet. Heck, spring training hasn't even started yet. And who was dumb enough to think this team would win the WS this year? I hope Cashman is not stupid enough to make any trades. This team is not salvageable right now. No trade will save us, given this situation. Might as well let any able bodies play and we'll see what happens. We can re-evaluate at the trade deadline.
