We can't cry about this. We'd sound like a bunch of whiny Baltimore Orioles/Ravens fans. We just need to keep doing the Yankee tradition, winning games. We've probably seen the last of Ivan Nova for 2012 tonight. What the Yankees need is for Hiroki Kuroda to be the Hiroki Kuroda that was the ace a few weeks ago. They need CC to be like the CC of the past two games. For Andy to be the spark plug that he's been all season. And for Phil Hughes to be the lights out Phil Hughes. I believe in these four and I believe the hitting (minus A-Rod) will come together in this crucial stretch to take the 2012 season to next month.
@Manx: Love the optimism and the plan for the four-man rotation (David Phelps could take a start if need be; still a major upgrade over Nova.) But you lost me on the hitting part since we will continue to be perpetual rally killers with Grandy and especially A-Rod, useless ol'A-Rod, hacking away in the middle of the order. I mean these guys are looking more and more like time has passed them by, especially A-Rod. Sorry to be a downer, but this guy needs some PEDs.
