Is The End Closer Than We Think?

I just read that John Sterling is taking the week-end off.

He hasn't done that since high school.

Who will be the voice, then?

Do they give Suzyn the full controls?

Is John "prepping" for retirement?

Is the end of another era, nigh?

P.S. I hope I don't have to hear or see Joe Buck again for a long time.

Is that really a name?

Is his sister called Jane Doe?

I HEARD RYAN RUCCO TAKES OVER.

WE NEED THE MASTER BACK, IN ALL HIS GLORY.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE MASTER?

Sadly for us, John's been slipping . . . even more than usual. The other day, he called Clint Frazier "Clyde" Frazier.

Sad.

At least you have to chuckle at the Clyde Frazier reference.

Truly, he's been making mistakes like that for a very long time. He ain't The Master for nuthin'.

I do have to chuckle at "Clyde Frazier."

Also, Clyde would play a better right field. Even today.

Unlike Clyde, Joe Buck is 'just for men' in a closeted kinda way.

Joe Buck is proof Jack's wife was fooling around on him. No way he is Jack's kid.

The Master sounds like he caught Michael Kay's anthrax.

A few days off for him would not be bad.

If there were any justice, Joe Buck's name would have BEEN Jane Doe...and, Rufus, I heartily concur, no way he is Jack's kid.

Perhaps someone should tell Cash-Hole to call Clyde Frazier, and see if he'd be available - - we could slot him in as a back-up reliever, first off. LB (No J)
