Continuing coverage of the IT IS HIGH 2015 awards banquet...

And now, to present the award for 2015 Yankee Rally-Stopper/Double-Play-Ball Batsman of the Year, ladies and gentlemen - she's the former federal jailbird who knows how to make place mats from animal bedding... he's the bad boy rapper who is now 43! Welcome Martha Stewart and Eminem...

Marshall, it's marvelous to be here with you tonight.

Huh? Fuh me. Yo. (Crowd laughter, applause)

Hahaha! The award for the Yankee Rally-Stopper Double-Play-Ball Batsman of the Year is given annual to the performer who hits the most ground balls at infielders, thereby emulsifying the team's chance to score runs. This year's nominees are, Marshall?

Huh? Fuh me. Yo. (laughter, applause) Chase Headley... (applause) Alex Rodriguez... (applause) Carlos Beltran... (applause) Brett Gardner... (applause) Brian McCann... (applause) Stephen Drew... (loud applause, chants of Droooooo...)

By the way, those aren't 'Drooos,' you're hearing. Those are boos. And the winner is...

Actually, we have co-winners, both with 17 ground balls into double plays... Chase Headley and Alex Rodriguez!

Accepting the awards for Mr. Headley and Mr. Rodriguez is Jorge Posada.

[For those of you scoring at home, Headley and Rodriguez each grounded into 17 DPs. Beltran hit into 12. Gardner did 8. McCann and Drew both contributed 7 each. Neither Mr. Headley or Mr. Rodriguez finished in the AL Top 10. The top three were - Trevor Plouffe, Minnesota (28), and a tie between Billy Butler, KC and Joginson Cano, Seattle (26).]

I didn't realize it was awards season until too late. Always love the fashion run-downs.

Is Suzyn's mink stole made by Dicker and Dicker of Beverly Hills?
