This is so sad.

Judge isn't ready for New York. Hell, he wasn't very good at Scranton. He needs a little time, is young, and still learning the game. No reason to call him up too soon, only to send him back down questioning his own abilities. He'll be ready in his own time, and the Yanks are gonna play the old guys who are under contract. With what Beltran contributed this past season, he deserves the opportunity in 2016.
So do Tex, as well as Alex Rodriguez. Judge is a 2017 arrival, full-time, hopefully. There is a major reason Judge wasn't having a latte in the Stadium, in September........

JUDGE GOT CALLED UP LATE TO TRIPLE AAA...HE BARELY GOT HIS FEET WET THERE...WHILE HIS POWER CONTINUED, HIS AVERAGE DROPPED...I AGREE TO LET HIM WORK OUT THE KINKS FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIPLE AAA SEASON...BUT IF AND WHEN HE FIGURES IT OUT, (LETS SAY, AN AVERAGE OF .285 OR ABOVE WITH HIS USUAL POWER NUMBERS), I SAY GET HIM UP TO THE BIG CLUB...AND FAST!!! AARON JUDGE IS 24 YEARS OLD...MOST MINOR LEAGUE PROSPECTS ARE DEEMED "TOO OLD" ONCE THEY HIT 25 IN THE MINORS!.EVEN THE PROSPECT HIMSELF, MAY BEGIN TO DOUBT IF HE WILL EVER CRACK THE BIG CLUB....WE NEED TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING WITH JUDGE....

Yep. The older the better. Re-sign Chris Chambliss & he'll hit .279, no problem. Unless he gets injured.

In the good old days, we fielded a team where almost everyone had .800 + OPS. On the 2009 team the only starter with an OPS under .800 was Cabrera at .752. That would be great on this team. Just three spots were .800 plus: A Rod, Teix/Bird, and Beltran. The other 2/3 of the order stunk, except for McCann who was slightly under .800.

Toronto is the only team that has something to approach the great hitting teams of the 2000s. The Yanks need some bruisers. Buy them, trade for them, or develop them from within. But don't just field the same team next year. They suck.
