The RailRiders win the Gildan Triple-A National Championship! The RailRiders win the Gildan Triple-A National Championship!
Talk about Back to the Future Day.
BAM-BAM MUELENS!......FROM CURACAO , I THINK.
I would like to add that from 95-2012 they would have been the normal wild card team and not had to deal with any 1 game ridiculousness.Of course they would have then lost easily to the Royals. I could live with that more than that Astros game...
No,the 88 team was more entertaining.
Bring me back! Trade Girardi to the Dodgers.
I understand the logic behind the six-games-over-.500 thing. If they had lost six games they wound up winning they would have been at .500. But the fact remains that they finished 87-75, TWELVE games over .500. Still mediocre, still soul-deadening in September, but goddammit, they were 87-75, not 84-78.
If they advanced beyond the Wild Card, I'd have them at 12 games over .500.Frankly, I think I'm cutting them slack for not adding the Wild Card, which would put them at FIVE over.
