First base is simply a nightmare position for the Yankees.

It hss been so for more than a decade now.

Until we solve it, the Yankees are wild card material.

Voit...even healthy...isn't the answer either.

And Bruce was going to be cut from the team.

I would actually prefer that minor league monster who kept hitting HRs in spring training. ( Mittens, Kittens, ?)

DJ is the best we have, but then we have no one who can play second ( not as a useful player, anyway ).

Luke did it swinging too hard?

Very sad to see. Voit seems like a good guy, and he always gave us more than we could have expected.

First base was actually all right for us through 2012, then again in 2015 and 2018-2020—the last few years because of Voit.

Now...well, I guess Mike Ford gets another shot. If he can hit as he did in 2019..

Otherwise...we could put LeMahieu there, move the Gleyber to second, and put Wade at short. Do we still have Kyle Holder, or not?

I would say we could try Sanchez at first, but I don't think that will work any better than having him catch.
